Originally from Washington, D.C., and now based in Miami full time, ORPHEUS brings a unique fusion of East Coast flavor, soulful vibes, high frequency drum patterns, and Miami’s infectious energy to every performance.

From a young age, ORPHEUS was exposed to a rich musical landscape that ranged from Go-Go to Gospel, but it was the pulsating rhythms and bounce of club music that truly captured his imagination. His love for the underground dance scene, combined with an early obsession with the catalogue of Prince, laid the foundation for a sound that blends funky and pulsating, groove-driven beats. Prince’s revolutionary approach to rhythm, melody, and performance resonates deeply in ORPHEUS sets — which always aspire to be eclectic, bold, and unapologetically unique to his point of view and environment.

Having graduated from art school through the global pandemic and relocated to Miami, a city famed for its vibrant nightlife and legendary music scene, ORPHEUS quickly immersed himself amongst the local talent. The influence of Miami’s rich history in Latin, as well as Drum & Bass, has played a significant role in pushing his sound further.
